Stoneskin

A disease characterized by excessive skin cornification and densification. Infection occurs through skin contact with mycobacteria found in steppe flora. The disease starts with skin dryness, peeling, and itching. Subsequently, the skin thickens, resembling large petrified reptile scales. Itchiness on such skin disappears. Nonfatal.
